x x x : Grade 10 Camp Week

hello!
this post was due AGES (february to be exact) ago but better late than never.
for our grade 10 camp week, we went to Rayong, a couple of hours south of Bangkok
it was kind of a beach-y area kind of a nature based place i guess
i didn't bring my dslr or polaroid ugh regret regret
but yeah

i think it was the best day we had overall on camp

we had a five hour ride to Rayong from Bangkok, and on the way we stopped by different places for food like MCD, 7/11s and all that. holy shit i bought a lot of food i'm pretty sure alfred looked at me funny once ahaa. after arriving at the hotel, all we did was just chill at the beach and swim and play football and build sandcastles and do some ice-breakers. the evening was saaaaa nice - stayed on the shore with tommy and company while everyone else went to eat some more (we got hungry afterwards though). slept early i think?

the second day was spent on the boat and visiting turtle island, many would say the boat was their favourite part of the trip - crazy ass fun haha imagine twenty or so people jumping up and down on the deck of the boat while skrillex is blasting out of speakers. pretty cool eh

i honestly did think at one point the boat to tip over but we made it out in one piece.

we were taken on a tour of the turtle hospital, and around the island

surprisingly we were able to walk the entire route haa i was dying. thank god i brought food

it was really pretty, the scenery and all the blue made you want to stay

oh did i mention we moved to another resort, this time with a pretty pool and beach eheh

we fed fishies

halfway through the day we went snorkeling, it was my first time actually doing it properly and whoa man i was scared as fuck. the things you see underwater is actually amazing. + we could see so far down it creeped many of us out. mainly saw urchins and things at the very bottom but there were pretty fishies too. i kept on kicking corals and ended up with a pair of badly scarred/bleeding feet.

day two ended with everyone happy. and tired

don't mind the faces we just finished hours of kayaking

DAY THREE WAS A MIX OF DIFFERENT THINGS

i think in the morning we went to a mangrove conservation site

had lunch

went to the local aquarium - i liked this part

went to kayak in the low tide and swim

went to look for squishy things in the mud full of oysters

and then we went to the shark feeding site

day four was our last night there, we spent most of our time at the resort playing games and doing nature based activities - i think i was in my room with pat for half of it .........
