Singapore Trip

Okay so. I haven't exactly blogged in a long while, but hopefully this post will make up for it hehe.
A few months ago me and Tan decided to plan a trip sometime in December, but we never really got to actually making it happen, until a few weeks ago, when we made a split second choice to go to Singapore for a few days. In the end, it was Gal, Neat and the two of us. Also known as the “ SG Crew “. Yeah so original we know we know. Needless to say, it was one of the best decisions we’ve made in a while haha! Let me see if I can recall most of the things we did during the trip.
Photos from my DSLR, Tan, Neat and Gal’s Phones.

DON'T WE LOOK TUMBLR

Day 1

We started off by going to the airport really bloody early in the morning. 7 am to be exact. Made Peter wake up at 7 and come downstairs to say bye haha I still think he hates me for that.

Grabbed quick coffee at Starbucks and had Burger King for breakfast before heading into the departure hall. the first flight was not too bad, Tan spent the entire time sleeping and the three of us took 500 selfies.

We killed time at BKK airport by walking around and eating Subway. Finally after god knows how many hours, we landed in Changi airport.

There we had some sort of a dilemma whether or not to take the taxi or MRT. Taxi queue was so damn long but the MRT was so damn far. In the end it was the MRT, which actually did not turn out to be a bad choice, we got to the hotel pretty fast (if you don’t count the 2 hours we spent at the airport after the plane landed doing god knows what).

Checked in at the hotel (no we couldn’t get connecting rooms) (and this led to a whole lot of walking back and forth) (and a whole lot of inconvenience in near future) (but anyway) we dumped everything in the hotel rooms and left for orchard.
BUT before we left for Orchard, we went downstairs around the Lavender MRT to look for food. Int was right there and then that Gal decided to break is 6 months long veganity HEHE. Its on camera somewhere I’m sure. But yeah it was pretty cool I think he bit into Neat’s or someone’s curry puff lol.
Bought Gal the $1.20 Taka ice cream hehe.

By then I think all of us were really exhausted so all we managed to dow was stay inside ION and shop for a bit. After this Tan and Neat went back to the hotel. Sab and Gal meanwhile met up with Claudio (yes the really tall ass one).

Ended up walking across Orchard to Somerset, which led to buying fries at Cineleisure and watching Predestination at midnight. The fries were amazing but the movie was terrible haha. Not recommended at all. Got to the hotel at 2 am ish. We were so so so so tired.

GUYS TAKE SELFIES IN BATHROOMS TOO

Day 2

All of us woke up at 10. Haha so much for trying to wake up early to get to Orchard. I don’t really remember what happened but I think the entire day was spent roaming around Orchard and Somerset haha legit. We ate so much like every corner I think we went and bought something. Had Kofu for lunch and stayed around Cineleisure for a bit.

At the New Era store

Managed to buy new running shoes hehe. They’re pretty I guess. Didn't realise they were pink when I bought them but eh. Israeli/Mediterranean food for dinner. That was one hell of a night haha. Oh well.

where the term "shop till you drop" comes to reality

Givenchy was amazing.

Our room keys stopped working at one point, so while Gal and Tan went downstairs to get it fixed, we sat on the floor and ate soya milk pudding from Jollibean (that was what we bought everyday haha not even joking.)

Me, Tan and Gal caught another midnight movie. It was Exodus this time. Bad bad movie. Good storyline, but bad movie.

Day 3

We woke up at 9.30 today. Not bad. Went straight to Marina Bay Sands and stayed there until 8 past at night. I think we managed to hit most of the shops there including Balenciaga (which had 50% off on everything), Saint Laurent, Prada and even Cartier (Gal managed to try on his beloved love bracelet. $8000 bloody dollars. Oh well its amazing.) We had Bakutteh for lunch omg. And TWG for high tea. So so so so good. I think we bought at least 50 macaroons among us in total maybe even more. The Napolitan tea’s still our favourite.

I think we spent at least half an hour at the dome thing outside Marina. The one where you throw coins into hoping it’ll make it into the hole? Haha. Neat threw in at least six $1 coins and managed to get it in. Tan got it in as well, and so did Gal. (See Celebratory Selfie above)
Me? Haha don’t even ask :(

A lot of time was spent in Celine/ In front of Celine

Don't my friends look like models <3

We were taking so many photos outside while waiting for Gal (Dolce and Gabbana).

Dinner was a mix of Chinese and Indian.

Tan got tired afterwards haha aw. I think all our feet were legitimately dying.

Arrived back at the hotel early cause everyone was so tired. Sadly didn’t have time to go to the observatory deck or the art science museum. We went around Orchard road that night cause Neat didn't get to see the Christmas lights yet. Satisfying day overall haha.

HEHE

get ready for a burst of photos haha
i'm sorry i cbf to arrange them in the correct order again

we went inside the louis gallery, that was really pretty. i spent half the time fangirling over sneakers

i wish we had gone up :(

We managed to run to the Promenade at 8 to catch the Wonderfull show thing. In Tan’s words, the run was “worth it”. Haha really pretty if you ask me, its not something you get to see everyday. Plus its free.

Day 4

We woke up at 11. God. Rushed to Somerset to exchange some stuff at Cotton On, while Neat got her popcorn and Tan looked at shoes. I don’t think we did anything else other than stay around Somerset and Orchard.

(Such a productive trip right). I think we stayed up till 4 something before all passing out. Except for Gal though I think he was up all night.

After these few days I think we can all call ourselves professional MRT navigators HAHAHAHA

#dressingroomselfies

Had to go all the way to Toa Payoh Centre to buy my books cause Popular closed down and Kinokuniya is just terrible at books.

Roamed around Orchard again to take photos of trees.

I think at one point in the night, Gal just started singing 'My Humps'. Like with the change in tone and everything, and all of us just died hahaha. Pop up if you want to see ;) I have the video somewhere.

Day 5

Today was just sad. Haha knowing that the trip had come to an end was just legit sad. But all in all, we managed to get up besides the fact that we pulled an all nighter, showered, and rush to the airport. I managed to (not) miss my flight hehe. Gave everyone goodbye hugs and dashed to the gate only to find out that my flight had been delayed for one more hour. That sucked. Felt bad for Gal who had a 13 hour flight back to Israel haha.

THIS IS GETTING LONG AND MY FINGERS ARE DYING SO

Tbh though I just wanted to thank these three for making the trip so memorable. It wouldn't have been the same if one of you weren't there haha. Thank you for putting up with me for five whole days ya’ll are amazing. Next stop: HONG KONG <3

Here’s a short Vlog I put together after going through 178 videos. Don’t forget to click on HD. Hope you enjoy it haha x

Oh and, Merry Christmas lovely people :)
