Lantern Festival

okay so this post was due forever ago too haha, at the start of term two around september? whoops

but i completely forgot about it until i saw it in my drafts.

me, alfred and ai went to the mae jo lantern festival

its kind of an annual thing where thousands of lanterns are released at once

THERE WERE SO MANY PEOPLE IT WAS NUTS

i think i bought a lot of glowsticks haha

we were around 50 metres from the site where they were releasing the lanterns, so technically, we missed the actual 'big' event of the night

we ended up buying our (second) lantern (yeah we threw the first one away after it got hard to move it against the crowd haha) and releasing it anyway

i really like this picture hehe i think we asked a lady to take it for us

saw a guy selling helium balloons, and naturally of course we bought one

this is so cute

ai was trying to take a picture of me but it ended up focusing on this random person in the back hehe soz 

i shall repeat, the amount of people there was insane

sucha good night haha apart from the fact that i literally (fried) my iphone

so bri's currently phoneless now (i have been for 3 months)

sigh
